130. GLUCOSE POTATO AGAR

Potato 200.0 g

Glucose 10.0 g

Agar 20.0 g

Tap water 1000.0 ml

pH 7.0

Boil 200 g scrubbed and sliced potatoes in 1000.0 ml water for 1 hour, filter cold through a cotton-gauze filter, add water to the initial volume, add glucose and agar. Do not use new potatoes.

Sterilize at 111°C for 30 min.
