Beef extract (Lab Lemco, Oxoid) 5.0 g

Agar (if necessary) 15.0 g

Distilled water 1000.0 ml

Adjust pH to 7.0.

Prepare sterile agar slants by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 min. Cool the slants in a sloping position. Cover solid slants with 2 ml sterile tap water. Inoculate into the covering tap water.
