Methanol 5.0 ml

Vitamin B₁₂ 20.0 µg

Distilled water 1000.0 ml

pH 8.0

Autoclave at 121°C for 15 min. Methanol and vitamin B₁₂ added from stock solution (sterilized by filtration) after autoclaving.
