MIRRI CULTURE COLLECTIONS OF THE RUSSIAN NATIONAL NODE                    

    The Microbial Resource Research Infrastructure (MIRRI) is the pan-European distributed Research Infrastructure for the preservation, systematic investigation, provision and valorisation of microbial resources and biodiversity. MIRRI offers a single point of access to 50+ microbial domain Biological Resource Centres (mBRCs), culture collections and research institutes from 11 European countries, including Russia. Four Russian microbial collections constitute Russian National Node. In their actions on information and software levels they try to achieve:
1. compartibility between each other,
2. compartibility with European MIRRI collections,
3. compartibility between their materials in russian language - for the users inside Russia, and in english - for users outside.
